Gary Patterson named Municipal Market Manager at Dynamatic

Dynamatic is proud to announce that Gary Patterson has been named our Municipal Market Manager. Gary started his career at Dynamatic in 2012, as the regional sales engineer for a portion of the Midwest. Soon after, it was determined that there was a large opportunity for variable speed drives in Water and Wastewater applications. Patterson then became the Technical Specialist of the newly formed Dynamatic’s Pumps, Fan and Compressor group.
Gary Patterson holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, where he pursued the Power Option, specializing in rotating equipment and electrical power generation, transmission, and distribution. “Eddy Current Drives are the technology of my first career job as an electrical engineering graduate.” Patterson said. “It’s a mature and well proven solution for variable speed, especially well suited to the pump applications and environments found in water and waste water pumping and treatment facilities.”
Gary Patterson will continue representing Dynamatic at Hydraulic Institute and other industry organizations; serving on selected committees; giving technology presentations to end users and consulting engineers; and attending national and reginal conferences, where he will be the spokesperson of the benefits of Eddy Current technology. His emphasis in generating specifications and proposals for applications by assisting in selecting equipment, will maintain and increase Dynamatic’s position as a reliable resource for users.
